Hi!

First off: DON'T TALK POLITICS OR RELIGION, you guys are catholic with a red white and blue flag, you will confuse all the idiots ;-)

I don't arrive until lunchtime match day, my number is XXXXXXX (zensiert, Anm.CK). I'll take you on a tour of the main NI fans bars, you will be made more than welcome.

Right advice for you guys:

Pubs!

Being tourists you need to visit the Crown Bar opposite the Europa Hotel about 200m from your hotel. It is an old fashioned saloon which hasn't changed since the 1880's.

Plenty of bars towards the University area, on the Dublin Road and Botanic Avenue,
There also is a South Belfast Northern Ireland Supporters Club near your hotel but it is full of old men drinking apart from on match day.

Day Time; Best way to see the City - http://belfastcitysightseeing.com/

You get to see the nice and not so nice areas as well as the Peace Line and not so old trouble spots!

On Monday night this might interest you:

Former Northern Ireland and QPR players have joined together to play in a Legends match in memory of Alan McDonald - and officially launch The Alan McDonald Trust.

The match, which will be played at Crusaders FC in Belfast on Monday 10th September (7.30pm kick-off), will see the two teams lock horns under the leadership of two legends of the Irish and English game, Pat Jennings and Gerry Francis.

All proceeds from the match will be donated to the Alan McDonald Trust.

The Northern Ireland team will include Iain Dowie and Jim Magilton, both former QPR Managers, along with former team members from the Northern Ireland World Cup squads of 1982 and 1986, and a host of other internationals including Sammy McIlroy, Keith Gillespie, Jimmy Nicholl, Gerry Armstrong, Jimmy Quinn, Ian Stewart, Billy Hamilton and Steve Lomas.

Alan McDonald the N.Ireland and QPR Legend died earlier this year. Take your flags and banners. The ground is about a 15 minute taxi ride to the north of the city.

Look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
